| Oh my god, I'm so sorry! |
[30 Mar 2009|10:18am] |
Hey folks,
I just went to OnlineShoes.com to make a review about a pair of shoes I bought. After the review process, they ask, "Want to post this to your blog?" and I said yes. Then they took my blog url (which I gave as cheesepuppet.livejournal.com), and my login name and password. And then I waited, but it just wasn't showing up in my blog.
Because apparently they posted it HERE. Uh, what????
I am so sorry for the disruption! It doesn't make any sense. I can't figure out how they did this. I never gave them the community URL or anything, it was just my own blog URL. I'll send them an email and let them know what happened. I completely apologize. Also thanks to the person who commented, otherwise I'd have had no idea and just thought it never got posted. :)

This looks GOOD.
I bought a brocco-flower earlier this week and this is definitely how I'll use it up. I'm going to try to make a mushroom gravy to go with it.
Kevin & Anne-Marie were in Kansas City tonight on their speaking tour, but I had to work tonight and missed it. :(

I've only had collard greens once, and it was cooked in an Ethiopian dish. I wonder if I'll like raw collard better.
There are several more cooking clips with Ani Phyo. Many of them are easy to make with just a few ingredients, which I love. I'll be making the Kreamy Curry salad dressing this week, as I happen to have all the ingredients on hand. (Don't you love it when that happens?)

Where is the best place to get raw nori sheets? Ive been to a few stores and they are all roasted. Do i have to buy them online?
Also, where can i find young coconuts? I located one place at a farmers market but they were charging 3 dollars for one coconut! Is it that expensive everywhere? When i was in Costa Rica i could buy 9 of them for a dollar! I know, i know they were cheap because they didnt have to be shipped anywhere.
Id be delighted if someone gave me some advice.
Tonight i am going to make something with sprouted quinoa...care to share recipes?

Well today I went to the store and stocked up for my first rawish week. I am going to start doing breakfast and lunch raw and dinner being whole food veggie. I don't want to detox too fast given the fact I have to work all week. So lets see what miracles can happen! The neat thing is that I work in a Dr. office so I will be monitoring my progress easily with the OCT machine, seeing if the edema has gone down around my optic disk. Woot! I will be coming here a lot for recipies and support! Oh btw we are trying your avo-corn salad tumaro .

Banana Nut Bread with Cream Cheese

Banana-Nut Bread 2 cups vegetable juice pulp (preferably at least half of it carrot pulp) 8 tbsp ground flax or chia ¾ cup chopped walnuts ¾ cup raisins 5 bananas
Mix together the veggie juice pulp and bananas in a food processor. Add in the ground flax or chia and let the food processor run until the seeds are completely mixed in. Transfer the mixture to a bowl with the walnuts and raisins and mix them in thoroughly by hand. Shape into a loaf. For major yumminess, top with ‘Cream Cheese’ (see below). Cream Cheese Flesh of three avocados 9 dates juice of 1 or 2 lemons big handful of dulse
Blend the ingredients in a blender. Serve on top of banana-nut bread, or just eat on its own ;)
That’s it – super-easy, a good way to recycle juicing pulp and VERY yummy – well, we like it anyway…we were actually laughing a great deal to imagine how we’d have reacted in our pre-raw days if given this kind of meal…well, try it, you might like it... ;)
